Changing Your myLakeland Password


Lakeland requires a strong password made up of at least ten characters including upper and lowercase letters, symbols and numbers. Changing your password affects your login information for myLakeland, your Lakeland email, the Lakeland wireless networks and other systems on campus.

If You Do Not Know Your Current Password

 

From the myLakeland sign in page, click the Forgot/Expired Password link. myLakeland Sign in with Forgot/Expired Password highlighted

Once you have verified your identity you can create and confirm your new password.

Click Submit to complete the process.

If You Know Your Current Password

From your myLakeland homepage, click the “Password Reset” icon at the top-right corner of the page.

A dialog box will open asking you to confirm your current password. Please re-enter your password

The myLakeland Password Manager page will open. On this page you can review or change your security questions and answers. You can also review your recovery email and phone information. If this information is not correct, students should contact our Student Service Center at 440.525.7050 and employees should contact Human Resources at 440.525.7575.

At the top-right, click your username and in the drop-down menu click Change Password.

A new page will open. In the provided spaces, begin by entering your current password. Next, enter a new password and confirm it in the last space.

When finished, click the Update button to save the change.
