Showing Individual Teams in Microsoft Teams

From the Microsoft Teams desktop app, click the three button Settings and More icon next to your initials or profile photo. In the drop-down menu, click Settings.

On the settings page, click the Chats and channels tab on the left. In the “Layout” section, select the Grid layout. In the “Viewing chats, teams and channels section” select Separate.

Finding Shared Files in Microsoft Teams

To view or edit shared files within a team, begin by clicking the Teams icon on the left. A grid of your teams will appear in the center screen. Select a team.

The team view will default to the most recent posts. At the top, click the Shared tab.

When the new tab loads, you’ll find a list of folders and files that are shared within the team. Depending on the team and your role, you will be able to view and may be able to add files, edit files and even work together with team members on the same file.
