Welcome to myLakeland
Welcome to the myLakeland Web Portal! myLakeland is a great place to find information from just about every area and function across the campus. From signing up for classes, to ordering copies of your transcript, the myLakeland Portal is your connection to Lakeland.
Your myLakeland account is created once you are accepted as a student at Lakeland or hired as a new employee.
Logging in to myLakeland

Using your web browser, navigate to http://my.lakelandcc.edu.

The User Login screen opens.
Username: Your username is the first part of your email address (first initial, last name and a number assigned to you).
Password: A temporary password is sent to you in your acceptance email if you are a student or in your new hire packet if you are an employee.
Click Login to continue.

This username and password are also used in Blackboard, your Lakeland email and for connecting to the wireless networks. If you cannot find your username or password, please contact Lakeland’s Help Desk at 440.525.7570.

Your First Log In
As a student, the first time you visit your myLakeland account you are immediately brought to the Password Management / Security Question page. You can access this page at any time by clicking the “Password Reset” icon at the top-right corner of the page.

Begin by selecting four questions from the drop-down box and entering the response. Click Submit to save your information.
Please note, these responses are case-sensitive. Filling out this information will allow you to recover a lost password without having to contact the Lakeland Help Desk.

Next, click the “Email Recovery” and “Phone Recovery” tabs to confirm that your personal email and phone numbers are correct in our system. If this information is not correct, students should contact our Student Service Center at 440.525.7050 and employees should contact Human Resources at 440.525.7575.
Changing Your Password
After logging in for the first time, it’s a good idea to change your password. Lakeland requires a strong password made up of at least ten characters and including upper and lowercase letters, symbols and numbers. Changing your password affects your login information for myLakeland, your Lakeland email, the Lakeland wireless networks and other systems on campus.
While still in the “Password Manager” page, at the top-right, click your username and in the drop-down click Change Password.

A new page will open. In the provided spaces, begin by entering your current password. Next, enter a new password and confirm it in the last space.
When finished, click the Update button to save the change. |
