Lakeland Employee Email

Your Lakeland email address is given to you in your hiring package. It is a combination of your username (which is typically your first initial, last name and a number assigned to you) followed by @lakelandcc.edu.

 

Accessing Your Lakeland Email Using a Web Browser

From your myLakeland home page, click the "Employee" tab on the side bar to the left, then click Employee Email. Employee email link

A new page will load which has several of the most recent emails you have received. At the top of this page is an option to load the browser version of Microsoft Outlook.

Click the Access Outlook Email button.

Installing the Outlook App on your Desktop or Laptop

As a Lakeland employee, you have access to Microsoft Office 365 applications which includes Microsoft Outlook. You can install Outlook on your personal computer.

From your myLakeland home page, click the Microsoft O365 button found on the icon bar near the top of the page.

A new page opens. On this page are links to the web browser versions of the Microsoft Office 365 apps. Click the Install Apps button at the top-right corner of the screen.

A new page will open. Included on this page is information about your Microsoft account through Lakeland.

Click the Install Office button and follow the installation steps.

Installing the Outlook App on Your Smartphone 

As a Lakeland faculty member, you have access to Microsoft Office 365 applications which includes Microsoft Outlook. You can install Outlook on most smartphones.

 

Download Outlook from the Google Play store or from the Apple Store and open the app.

Tap Get Started if it is your first time using the app.

Of, open the collapsed menu in the upper-left corner and select Settings > Add Account > Add Email Account

In the "Add Account" dialog box, enter your full Lakeland email address and click Continue.

In the "Office 365" dialog box, enter your full email address and your myLakeland password.

Swipe through to view the features of the app and select those you would like to use or tap “Skip.” Outlook may request permission to access your calendar, contacts, etc. Tap Yes or Allow.
