My Discussion forum says 'No items found'.

Issue/Question

• My Discussion forum says 'No items found', but I know classmates have posted / I have made previous post.
• I cannot find previous post.
• I saved a draft of my discussion post but now I cannot find it.

Environment

• Blackboard

Cause

• The discussion forum display settings are set to display a view that does not contain any post.

Resolution

• Discussion forums have multiple display views. If you are unable to locate any post, try another view (Show All is recommended).
• The display option is located in the top right corner within the discussion forum page.
