Please Note: You must know your current password to use this process.
1. Log into myLakeland. If you have not yet created password reset questions, you will be prompted to do so upon successfully logging into myLakeland.
2) Click on Password in the upper right of the page.
3. Re-enter your myLakeland password and click Sign in.
4. Click on your username in the upper right of the page and select Change Password.
5. Enter your current password, then your new password and re-enter the new password. Then, click Update.
Attention: Changing your password will also impact access to Blackboard, desktop, wifi, printing, shared drives, and various other systems.
Note: Passwords must meet the following criteria:
Minimum number of 10 characters, with at least THREE of the following:
- Uppercase Characters
- Lowercase Characters
- Base 10 Digits (0 through 9)
- Non-alphanumeric Characters
The following is prohibited when setting your password:
- Part of your username
- Dictionary words
- More than 5 consecutive characters
- Using another password (the system will remember the previous five passwords)
