Why do I need additional security verification? 

Your security is a top priority. Therefore, we implemented Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to help ensure that no one can access your account but you! This means, when accessing myLakeland from a new device or browser, you will be asked to enter a code that is sent to your cell, personal email, or Google or Microsoft Authenticator (if configured). When logging in, if you check the box ‘trust this device’, you will only be asked to 'verify' occasionally or if something has changed with your device, browser, or security settings.

I forgot my password to myLakeland, what should I do?

You can reset your password using the using the myLakeland password reset page.

Passwords must meet the following criteria:

  • Attention: Changing your password will also impact access to Blackboard, desktop, wifi, printing, shared drives and various other systems.

  • Minimum number of 10 characters, with at least THREE of the following:

    • Uppercase characters

    • Lowercase characters

    • Base 10 digits (0 through 9)

    • Nonalphanumeric characters
  • The following is prohibited when setting your password:

    • Part of your username.

    • Dictionary words.

    • More than 5 consecutive characters.

    • Using an older password as the system will remember the previous five passwords.

  • If that doesn't work, email lcchelpdesk@lakelandcc.edu or call 440-525-7570 the following information to the Help Desk to reset your password:

    • Lakeland ID number

    • Full name

    • Home Address on file

    • Phone number on file

    • Date of birth

    • Last four digits of your Social Security Number

Two years after you finish your final credit class. Access after two years will require you to contact the Help Desk to have your myLakeland account reactivated.

Where do I register for courses in myLakeland?

  1. Log into myLakeland.
  2. Click myCOURSES.
  3. Click Register for Classes.
  4. Select a term.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Enter CRN numbers on Add Classes Worksheet.
  7. Click Submit Changes.

How do I view my grades in myLakeland?

  1. Log into myLakeland.
  2. Click myRECORDS.
  3. Click Grades.
  4. Only official end of term final grades are available here. If applicable, click the link to view pending final grades for courses completed before the end of the current semester (1st 8 weeks, 1st 5 weeks, 2nd 5 weeks).

  3. Click Personal Class Schedule.
  4. Select a term.
  5. Click Submit.

How do I view my transcript in myLakeland?

  1. Log into myLakeland.
  2. Click on Student.
  3. In the center column within "myLakeland Student Services", click Student Records.
  4. Click View Web Transcript (Unofficial).
  5. Select Web Transcript (Credit) from the Transcript Type drop-down menu and click Submit (you will also have the option to choose non-credit classes).

How do I request an official transcript in myLakeland?

  1. Log into your myLakeland account and click on myRECORDS > Request Official Transcript.
  2. If you cannot access your myLakeland account, you can request and pay via the Online Request for Transcript of Record Form.
  3. There is a transcript fee of $5 per copy.

How do I update my personal contact information in myLakeland?

You must contact our Admissions Office and complete a Student Record Change Form.

Students: Send an email TO registrar@lakelandcc.edu FROM your Lakeland student email account.
Employees: Send an email TO human_resources@lakelandcc.edu FROM your Lakeland email account.

How do I change my major?

You may change your major field of study any time during your enrollment at Lakeland by completing a Student Record Change Form, available in the Student Service Center. It is suggested that you consult with a counselor before registering for classes in your new program.

How do I drop/withdraw from classes in myLakeland?

  1. Log into myLakeland.
  2. Click myCOURSES.
  3. Click Register for Classes twice.
  4. Select a term (if not previously selected) and then click Submit.
  5. In the “Action” column, select Online Drop or Web Withdraw next to the course you want to drop/withdraw. If you accidentally remove the wrong class, select Re-Add.
  6. Click Submit Changes.

How do I view classes I can register for in myLakeland?

  1. Go to lakelandcc.edu/schedule or go to myLakeland and click Course Schedule Viewer on the login page.
  2. Select a term.
  3. Select additional criteria if desired.
  4. Click on View Results.
    • Note the CRN number(s) of the class(es) you want to take. You will need these for online registration.

How do I make a Payment / View My Student Account / Enroll in eRefunds?

  1. Log into myLakeland.
  2. Click myRECORDS.
  3. Click on Billing Center.
  4. Click I Agree to enter the secure Billing Center website.
  5. On the Billing Center home page:
    • To pay your bill, click Make a Payment.
    • To set up installments, click Payment Plans tab then click Enroll Now.
    • To view your account, click View Account Activity.
    • To enroll in eRefunds, click on the eRefund tab and follow the instructions provided for entering your bank information and using a bank account for refunds.

How do I enroll in a Payment Plan and Set Up Installments?

  1. You must first be registered for classes. Then log into myLakeland.
  2. Click myRECORDS.
  3. Click on Billing Center.
  4. Click on I Agree to enter the secure website.
  5. Click on Payment Plans tab and then click on Enroll Now.
  6. Select the proper semester and click on Select.
  7. Follow the screen instructions and prompts such as the continue button to enroll in the payment plan. DO NOT enter an amount for the $25.00 processing fee in the field for down payment, the fee will process AUTOMATICALLY once you have set up a payment method.
    • NOTE: Choosing “Yes, I want to set up payments” is your AUTHORIZATION to process payments AUTOMATICALLY on the due date using the payment method you set up. You will receive a reminder email.
  8. As soon as you read the Tuition Loan Payment Plan Promissory Note and click on I Agree, the $25.00 processing fee payment WILL AUTOMATICALLY process.
  9. Print a copy of your payment plan agreement and payment receipt for your records.

  5. Click Tax Notification.
  6. Enter your 4 digit tax year and click Submit.
