Outlook Disconnecting on Password Change - Faculty

Please note if you change your password while logged in to your PC on campus your Microsoft Outlook email may become disconnected.  To avoid having the problem please be sure to close Microsoft Outlook before you change your password.  You may reopen Outlook once you have successfully reset your password.

If you suspect your email is no longer updating you can check by clicking on the Send / Receive tab in Outlook then clicking on Send/Receive All Folders.

If your password is no longer synchronized you will receive a prompt to enter your password.  Enter your new password and be sure to check the Remember my credentials box then click OK.
